Job Description:
Position Announcement Courier
Immediate Availability Action Couriers is seeking positive, courteous, and motivated individuals to fill various courier positions in the Twin Falls area. Couriers are responsible for handling local pick ups and drop offs throughout Southern Idaho. Candidates must be available to work an assigned shift during the 24/7 operation of the Company. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in a delivery environment with an excellent driving record, intimate geographical knowledge of the local area, experience with electronic data capture devices and positive customer skills. Must be willing to meet grooming and uniform standards.
Position Information & Qualifications
21 years of age or older
Previous courier experience
Excellent driving record (0 points in the last 3 years)
Geographical knowledge of the local area
Maintain composure under pressure
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Organized with an attention to detail
Able to single lift 50 lbs and heavy items routinely
Nextel phone experience
Positive Customer Service attitude
Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
Drug-Free and non-smoking workplace (requires pre-employment drug test)
Compensation
Hourly rate $10.00 to start
